Appeal for solidarity for Dr. Jean-Claude Rodet

March 10th, 2025

Dear friends, former students and colleagues of Dr. Jean-Claude Rodet,

Today, we are appealing to your generosity to help a man who has dedicated his life to natural health, research and education. Dr. Rodet, a multi-disciplinary scientist in ecological agronomy, nutrition and alternative medicine, has touched many lives through his teaching and his commitment to the well-being of others.

Why this fund-raising campaign?

For the past four years, Dr. Rodet has been bedridden and dependent on a 24-hour oxygen generator following an anesthesia he underwent against his will. Despite the efforts of his wife, Francine, to ensure that he lives a dignified and comfortable life, financial resources have run out.

Today, we need $15,000 to finalize the work on their future home in BioGaia (Portugal), where he will finally be able to live in a healthy environment, surrounded by nature and serenity. These funds will cover

installation of electricity for heating and the oxygen generator
Access to hot water
The equipment necessary for his well-being and health.
Who is Dr. Jean-Claude Rodet?

A pioneer of alternative medicine, Dr. Rodet co-founded “Médecins aux Pieds Nus” and has trained numerous natural health professionals. His humanitarian and scientific commitment has helped to promote a holistic approach to health and to develop organic farming in Portugal and Canada.

Many of us have benefited from his knowledge, kindness and dedication. Today, it's our turn to help.

Tributes

I would like to thank Mr. Rodet for his great generosity in sharing his knowledge. I remember that our classes always finished after the scheduled time, so much so that he loved passing on his teaching. He shared with us his passion for natural approaches, especially nutritherapy. A naturopath is a health educator,” he used to tell us. - Observe the person in front of you and you'll know how to help” - ‘Use your brain to make the connections’. These phrases have influenced my practice for over 20 years, the way I teach and even my personal life. He has been a significant person in my naturopathic journey. Thank you Mr. Rodet. - Marcelle Demers

Dear Dr. Rodet, I'll never forget the moment I walked through the door of your naturopathic school. It was there that everything began, not only my learning, but above all my healing. Thanks to you, I understood that health is not simply the absence of disease, but a deep connection with oneself, nature and the entire universe. The teachings you passed on to me are not limited to theoretical knowledge: they are imbued with divine wisdom, compassion and a deep connection with nature. Your kindness, wisdom and humility have inspired me to care for my body, my mind and my environment. You taught me that healing begins with taking personal responsibility, reconnecting with nature and listening to our own bodies. Your leadership, fatherly love and immeasurable respect for nature and every living thing are a constant source of inspiration for me. Through the school I founded, I strive to transmit this holistic and profound vision of health and well-being. I want to offer my students what you offered me: the keys to understanding, healing and fulfillment. Dr. Rodet, thank you for your generosity, wisdom and dedication. You have not only changed my life, you have inspired the creation of a place where others can, in turn, find the tools to heal, reconnect and thrive. Thanks to you, I've become a better practitioner, but more importantly, a more aware, wiser and connected person. Isabelle Wilson
